Kellerbier is a style that goes way back, originating in Franconia (south- central Germany) where the beer was brewed, casked, and then stored to ferment and develop in caves (cellars) which had reliably stable temperatures. It’s a sessionable lager with a lean body, a gentle hop presence, and a keen disposition for good times. There’s a party in the basement, and you’re invited!
