This Chardonnay from the Fall Vineyard was a bit of an experiment for BK, remaining in barrel under ullage for two years, untopped, followed by a year in bottle. The result is a textural and unique wine with orange peel and brine notes accompanied by chalky tannins and oxidative, sherried fringes. A real delight, made to be savoured.
