A blend of Cabernet and Sangiovese, this is a brand new wine for Blind Corner! A modern riff on Margs Cabernet, this is a lighter and brighter take that exhibits dark and red fruits on the palate. The name Ripasso is referring to a method used in the Cabernet component of this wine, where the pressed skins from another wine (The Bernard Cabernet in this case) are left to blend with the Ripasso Cabernet before pressing again. The result is a more mature tannin profile and a rich chocolatey texture, which complements the fruity palate of this wine perfectly.
