LANTIERI - CUVÉE BRUT

The sparkling wines of Franciacorta are great value alternatives to Champagne. They are made in the same 'methode traditionnelle' with this wine seeing 24 months of ageing on lees before disgorgement.

The Lantieri de Paratico family traces its roots in the Franciacorta district back to the year 930 AD with wine production dating back to the 16th century. The more contemporary history of this winery develops around Capriolo, an evocative medieval borough where, in the 1970s, Giancarlo Lantieri was one of the first – with oenologist Cesare Ferrari – to make his first steps in the production of sparkling wines, now recognised and acclaimed as Franciacorta D.O.C.G.

Their Brut Cuvée exhibits aromas of white spring blossom, citrus, bread crust and saline shape the delicate nose. On the bright palate, fresh acidity and a silky mousse accompany creamy white peach, yellow apple and grapefruit before a white almond finish.
