Planted in the mid-90s by the Joy family, the vineyard's undulating terrain and soils rich in shale, quartz, and mudstone contribute to the wine's depth and structure.

The wine presents a pale straw color, leading with intense aromas of nettle, struck flint, preserved lemon, and grapefruit pith, complemented by subtle notes of peach, nectarine, clotted cream, and spice. On the palate, it offers a harmonious blend of citrus and stone fruit flavors, flint, spice, and a savory minerality. The texture is fleshy and long, with fine acidity, showcasing a style and weight reminiscent of the producer's Chardonnay offerings.
