The St. Bernardus Abt 12 is one of the most recognised and awarded Abbey ales in the world. It is brewed in the classic Quadrupel style of Belgium's best and pours dark and full with an ivory-colored head. It has a fruity aroma, a complex palate and a long, bittersweet finish with a hoppy bite. Regarded as one of the best beers in the world, it's an exceptinal brew that perfectly balances malty, bitter, and sweet. One of the original recipes from the days of license-brewing for the Trappist monks of Westvleteren.
