Distinguished and elegant, the tripe.Iscariot Sœur Cabernet Franc is a refined expression of Margaret River’s cooler maritime influence. Aromas of violets, blackberry, forest berries, damp earth, wood and subtle notes of raspberry leaf and mint give a layered and inviting nose. On the palate it’s structured yet graceful—full-bodied with fine, velvety tannins and a long, persistent finish. 

This wine spent ~18 days on skins for part of the ferment, while the rest was on skins much longer, and was aged for around 16 months in French barriques (about 50% new oak), adding nuance of cedar, warm earth, black licorice and cedar tones
