THEME: Frankland Estate

Frankland Estate was founded in 1988 by the late Barrie Smith and Judi Cullam, inspired by a tour of French vineyards and two working vintages at Château Sénejac in Bordeaux. Today, the second generation — Hunter Smith and Elizabeth Kent — carry the estate forward. Located in the Frankland River district, a cool-climate region about 200 kilometres inland from the South West coast of Western Australia, the estate's vines are dry-farmed under certified organic practices, allowing seasonal variation to express itself honestly in the wine. Frankland Estate is perhaps best known for its Isolation Ridge Riesling, though Riesling shares the spotlight with Bordeaux red varieties, Shiraz, and Chardonnay, with newer additions like Mourvèdre and Grüner Veltliner already producing striking results. Their winemaking philosophy is described as light-touch — wines that reflect nature rather than the hand of the winemaker.

Simply purchase this specialty Wine Club Glass and you'll receive an invitation to one exclusive session of our Osborne Park Wine Club, running fortnightly on Tuesdays from 5.30 pm. One glass = one invitation to one session. Your glass will then be ready to take home on the night after it's seen its fill of delicious tasters!

What is the Wine Club Glass?

Designed by German glassmakers Willinger and exclusively distributed in Australia by LS Merchants, the Hedi is a machine-blown crystal glass built for the way we drink — equally at home with a cool-climate white, a structured red, or a celebratory pour of something sparkling.
