This dropis aged 14 years in an ex-bourbon barrel of American oak. Its nose is earthy and herbal, featuring vanilla, candied citrus zest, anise/licorice, cooked cereal, roasted malt, wood spices, and sweet honey notes. On the palate, it’s sweet, with cooked cereal notes, candied orange zest, anise/licorice, caramel, and vanilla notes. The finish is long and sweet, with lingering herbal, earthy, orange zest and mild pepper notes.
