Sangallo Amaro Camatti is a traditional 20% ABV Italian bitter liqueur from the Genoa region, originally created by chemist Umberto Briganti in 1923 and now produced by Distilleria Sangallo. How it began; A chemist and pharmacist who first blended the secret recipe in Liguria, Italy, naming the liqueur after his wife's surname, Camatti. Made using over 30 mountain herbs, flowers, and roots, including gentian, cinchona (quinine), bitter orange, mint, and almonds.
