La Cofradia - Talavera Reposado
La Cofradia - Talavera Reposado
Produced at the historic NOM 1137 distillery in the Valle region of Jalisco — the very facility behind the original Clase Azul before it went on its own — La Cofradia Talavera Reposado is a tequila steeped in Mexican craft and heritage.
Made from 100% Weber Blue Agave and double-distilled before being aged for six months in white oak barrels, it delivers a warm golden colour and a beautifully approachable flavour profile. The nose offers soft cooked agave and dried flowers, with a gentle fruity sweetness and whispers of vanilla. On the palate, creamy caramel and ripe fruit lead the way, rounded out by a touch of pepper and baking spice, with a smooth oak influence that never overpowers. The finish is warm and lingering, with gentle spice and a clean, dry close.
And then there's the bottle — a hand-painted Talavera ceramic vessel, fired at 1260°C and decorated by Mexican artisans, making every single one a unique work of art in its own right. A wonderful sipping tequila that looks just as good on the shelf as it tastes in the glass — perfect as a gift or a treat for yourself!
