Matured in used bourbon barrels (previously holding 10-year bourbon), then aged further with applewood and oak staves. The Applewood staves contribute bright apple notes, honey, light caramel, cinnamon, cut grass, and dried apple. The Oak & Applewood expression is designed to be a unique, fruit-forward alternative to standard rye whiskeys.
