About 30 minutes North of Vancluse, and just a 10-minute drive from wonderful Gigondas in the Rhône Valley, is the village of Seguret, where Julien Bréchet makes these wines. Hand-harvested, this is a blend of 50% Grenache and 50% Syrah, giving fresh aromas of berry coulis and violets, with plenty of "juicy" character on the palate, as they only use old oak barrels and 12 months in concrete for ageing. Pair this one with grilled meats or rotisserie.
