We just love Pelaverga - the smallest DOC within the northern Barolo region. This wine comes from two small vineyards planted by Gian Luca in 2017. It was naturally fermented and then aged in clay amphora.

The wine is wonderfully fragrant, with prominent floral notes of roses and violets, alongside a very pure expression of raspberry, spice and white pepper.  Smooth and subtle tannins give way to a vibrant and charming light red wine that is exceptionally drinkable and benefits from a light chill. It's truly delicious right now.
