Fresh, sweetly fruity and smooth-bodied, Caol Ila's 12 Year Old is as rounded and clear as you could want from an Islay Single Malt. With a palate that takes a subtle approach to the region's signature peatiness, it offers soft aromas of sweet peat and baked citrus. Although this is relatively young for single malt Scotch, the balance is near perfect.
