Rare, aromatic and full of character, this Centesimino from Ancarani champions a local red grape found almost exclusively in the hills around Faenza in Emilia-Romagna. Once nearly lost, the variety has been revived by a handful of dedicated producers, and Ancarani is among its finest advocates.

On the nose, expect vibrant aromas of wild red berries, rose petal and violet, layered with a gentle spice reminiscent of black pepper. The palate is medium to full-bodied and smooth, with flavours of ripe cherry, plum and dried herbs, supported by soft, fine-grained tannins and a fresh, lifted finish. Truly something unique and VERY special.
