Crafted from some of the oldest ungrafted Assyrtiko vines in the world — many over 200 years old — Argyros' Cuvée Monsignori is a remarkable expression of Santorini's volcanic terroir. With tiny yields and meticulous winemaking, this is a wine built on precision, power and longevity.
In the glass, expect an intense yet elegant palate of lemon zest, grapefruit and white peach, layered with crushed stone, sea spray, fresh herbs and a distinctive saline minerality that could only come from Santorini. Eleven months on fine lees adds texture and depth, while the vibrant acidity carries through to an incredibly long, focused finish. It's a wine that's stunning today but will continue to evolve beautifully in the cellar for well over a decade.
