Barleywine is a strong, sweet amber ale made from egregious amounts of malts and hops, and given a long maturation to provide a honey like sweetness and a mild carbonation. Barrel aging brings notes of caramelised sugar, dark fruit, and a herbaceous note from the use of English hops. Ready to serve now or like a fine wine for years to come.
