A collaboration with Forager Brewing, this Bourbon Barrel Aged Imperial Stout is inspired by home-made berry pie. Aromas of late summer berries -- rich and overripe with a gentle tartness. A subtle sparkle of cinnamon opens the palate, where it meets a lattice of pie crust malt flavour that balances the boldness of the sweet, stewed blackberries and boysenberries. Medium bodied with a velvety texture and lingering, earthy berry finish.
