Named after Diana Madeline’s mother, a suffragette, this wine comes from Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon planted on the Cullen Estate in 1976. It opens with white flowers, citrus and pink lady apple. The acidity is bright and the minerality fine, and underneath sit layers of dried pear, fig and a hint of mango, with brioche, lemon curd and a touch of vanilla bean. The finish is crunchy, citrusy and melon-tinged, with real purity and drive.
