Don Fulano Anejo is a complex tequila aged in a mix of casks that previously held Burgundy, Bordeaux, and Loire wines. It has a sweet palate with oak showing plenty of presence, agave up front, and notes of brown sugar and clove on the back palate. The oak is not dominant, but it’s there and it balances nicely. This tequila has a moderate mouthfeel and finishes with a long-lasting taste tinged with cocoa and vanilla, plus a final zing of jalapeño heat.
