First aged for five years in the Caribbean (Guyana & Barbados) for rich tropical depth, it is then shipped to Jerez, Spain, where it spends another five years in aged sherry casks — initially in Dos Cortados (Palo Cortado) and finally in Pedro Ximénez (PX) casks. The result is an exceptionally smooth rum layered with dried fruit, vanilla, fig, toffee, and spice, with a long, velvety finish.
