The Egly-Ouriet Grand Cru Blanc de Noirs Vieilles Vignes Les Crayères NV is an iconic, benchmark grower Champagne produced by Francis Egly in Ambonnay, France. Planted in 1946!

South-facing mid-slope with thin topsoil (about 30cm) sitting over deep pure chalk. Fermented and aged in French oak barrels (barriques) on indigenous yeasts, unfined and unfiltered, with low dosage (typically around 1 to 3 grams/litre). Extended aging on the lees (approx. 72 months). Full-bodied, concentrated, and structured with vibrant chalky minerality, red berry fruit, brioche, and roasted nut aromas. Often described as "Burgundy with bubbles."
