The Wendling Vineyard is located in the 'Deep End', the coolest section of Anderson Valley and the most northwesterly vineyard in the AVA with the closest proximity to the Pacific coast. The vines were planted in 2010 and have been farmed biodynamically with extraordinary care from the beginning, and produce some of the most exceptional fruit in the area.

So it stands to reason that any wine bearing the Wendling name will be a belter, and the 2022 Pinot Noir proves it. It already shows complex aromas of marionberry, blackberry, red licorice, red apple, rose petal and black tea. It is densely structured with hedonistic richness and a powerful finish, which will continue to improve for several years.
