The Ellis family have been running their sheep farm and stewarding these vineyards in Derwent Valley, Tasmania since 1976. Nowadays, their daughter Mardi Ellis will be its custodian for future generations. This Riesling comes from a blend of fruit from both the 1974 plantings of Riesling and their more recently planted German clones. Racy, crisp, aromatic floral notes, and river rocks, this is what cool-climate Riesling from Australia is about!
