Poggerino is one of Chianti Classico's most respected estates, perched at 400–500 metres above Radda in Chianti. Organically farmed and made entirely from estate Sangiovese, it's hand-harvested and spontaneously fermented in concrete before a year in large Slavonian and French oak. Blackberry, cherry, leather and red currant with a touch of liquorice and vanilla, finishing with sweet, persistent tannins.
