Pouring a deep golden hue, the nose reveals inviting aromas of poached pear, vanilla custard, honeyed malt and warm baking spices layered over delicate oak. The palate is silky and full flavoured, showing notes of caramelised oats, orchard fruits, creamy vanilla, dark chocolate and subtle spice, before finishing long with lingering malt sweetness and gentle pepper warmth.

Non-chill filtered and presented at 40% ABV, Vanguard offers a beautifully textured mouthfeel and a distinctly New World whisky profile that balances richness, elegance and innovation. A superb introduction to the rapidly emerging world of New Zealand single malt whisky.
