This is the 3rd vintage of this limited release, from the coolest pocket of their Walcliffe site, 'J Plot'. Twenty-year-old Gingin Chardonnay is grown on Red Chromosol and Karri Loam soils, on south-east facing slopes. Unfined, unfiltered. Complexly perfumed, savoury, saline, crusty bread, lemon pith, and melon notes on the nose, and powerful structure on the palate. Cellar, or drink now with good company.
