Widow Jane is an award-winning distillery in Red Hook, Brooklyn. Paradigm Rye was their first nationally released whiskey to include spirit distilled at the Brooklyn home, after five years of laying down their own rye barrels. That in-house rye is blended with ryes from Kentucky and Indiana. Like all Widow Jane whiskeys, it’s non-chill filtered and proofed with limestone mineral water from New York’s Rosendale Mines, which gives it a round mouthfeel and a long finish.

Expect classic rye baking spice alongside black cherry, cinnamon, lemon peel and vanilla, on a soft, oaky palate with clove and black pepper. It won the No Age Statement Rye category at the 2024 World Whiskies Awards. A rye with bourbon-like sweetness and body: brilliant neat, or as the backbone of a Manhattan.
