Aged in white oak / American bourbon casks and proofed with soft mountain spring water from Mt. Daisen. The bottle label features Katsushika Hokusai’s famous Ukiyo-e woodblock print, "The Great Wave off Kanagawa", chosen to represent the strong and bold character of the peated spirit.

Fresh and toasty malted cereal, earthy peat, gentle smoke, and a touch of vanilla oak. Toasty oak, brown sugar, creamy vanilla, and orchard fruits wrapped in ashy smoke. A lingering mix of peat smoke and fresh apple to finish.
