A deep, near-opaque garnet red from old, dry-farmed Tempranillo vines planted on the sandy, clay-flecked soils of Toro. Powerful aromas of blackberry and black cherry lead through to notes of violet, dark chocolate and a whisper of smoke. Full-bodied and velvety on the palate, with fine, well-integrated tannins and a long, spiced finish. A serious, structured red built for grilled meats and hard cheeses.
