The debut release of a seriously exciting new addition to the Giant Steps lineup. Winemaker Melanie Chester has drawn fruit from five of the winery's premier Yarra Valley single-vineyard sites — Tarraford, Sexton, Primavera, Applejack and Bastard Hill — and blended them into something that's more than the sum of its parts. Where the single-vineyard wines are the pure tones of each site, Circle of Fifths is the chord.

Delicate and perfumed on the nose, with maraschino cherries, rose petals, cherry blossom, violets, star anise and crushed stones. The palate is mid-weighted with tightly wound tannins and bright acidity, delivering complex layers of red and black fruits, blueberries, mint, woodsmoke and delicate spice, finishing plush and silky.
