Hailing from the stunning 2021 vintage comes this mineral, elegant and beautifully-crafted Langhe Rosso of Nebbiolo, Barbera, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon produced by Piemonte rockstar Angelo Gaja who revolutionised winemaking in Barbaresco and is the benchmark producer to this day.
The Nebbiolo and Barbera for the Sito Moresco come from estate vines planted on the esteemed Cru Pajore, Barbaresco vineyard and the Merlot and Cabernet are from Serralunga d’Alba estate vines. It is a complex, medium bodied assemblage of big character varietals, each vinified separately prior to blending and then matured in oak barrels for 12 months. The result is at once delicious and thought-provoking, with vibrant violet and rose petals, red cherry, black plum, black currant, perfectly integrated velvety tannins and balanced silky acidity, it all just comes together seamlessly and captures the heart of Piemonte and one of its most cherished families.
