Champagne Laherte Frères Les Empreintes 2017 is a high-end, vintage extra-brut grower champagne made from an equal 50/50 blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.

It is crafted from a selection of the five best barrels from two specific top plots: Chardonnay from Les Chemins d'Épernay (planted in 1957 on clay and chalk, featuring a portion of the rare Chardonnay-Muscaté grape).Pinot Noir from Les Rouges Maisons (planted in the late 1980s on clay, flint, and schist).

The parcels are vinified separately, raised in old Burgundy barrels (including second-hand casks from Domaine de la Romanée-Conti), and aged on lees under cork (sur lattes) for an extended period. Features aromas and flavors of lemon confit, preserved lemon, baked apple, white flowers, toasted brioche, fresh pastry, and a distinct chalky, saline mineral core.
