The Pinot fruit for this red was sourced from parcels in Maranges and in Santenay, plus a one hectare parcel in the Hautes Côtes with ageing taking place in tank (30%) and the balance in barrel (of which 15% is new). Bright red to dark red colour with black toned edges and a vibrant red hue. Perfumed violet-like aromas are followed by red cherry, red raspberry, fresh herb, forest floor and spice notes. Light and energetic, delicious red cherry and strawberry fruits drive the palate over an earthy provincial herb back drop. Fresh acidity and fine grained tannins with an elegant and savoury finish.
