The bottle labels feature classic Japanese ukiyo-e art, such as masterpieces by master Kikukawa Eizan, symbolizing strength, grace, and elegance.
The whisky is double-distilled in traditional copper pot stills and matured (or finished) in casks utilizing Sakura (Japanese cherry blossom) wood. Cherry wood is rare and unconventional in standard whisky aging. It imparts a distinct floral, fragrant aroma reminiscent of cherry blossoms, coupled with notes of sweet vanilla, fresh citrus, baking spices, and a subtle earthiness or nutty undertone.
