100% Chardonnay sourced mostly from two hectares in the "lieu-dit" Champ Rond in the village of Chasselas, a village in the southern part of the Saint-Veran appellation. The soil is an unusual red limestone ideal for growing Chardonnay, rendering fresh and particularly aromatic wines.

The 2022 vintage has it all - expressive aromas of fresh apple and citrus layered with limestone minerals and spiced pear notes. The palate has ripe, elegant fruit that builds richness as it airs. Even with the rich fruit it never feels heavy; keeping its textbook white Burgundy freshness, minerality, and energy throughout. There's no oak, no added sugar, and no tricks in the winemaking to alter or obscure the pure, ripe Chardonnay flavours. This is a white Burgundy-lover's white Burgundy, with a long pure finish of apple, citrus zest, and spice alongside lees-driven creaminess.
